    Outstanding Vacation

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and parks and golf courses. Loved the cabin. Very functional and well decorated. Many things provided at the cabin to do on rainy days too. Would highly recommend staying here.

    Family Reunion..Getaway

We planned a 12 day vacation to reconnect with our kids and bond with their great grandparents. Ages ranged from 13-90, we were all just so excited to arrive and find a home filled with everything one needs to relax and bond. 4 Lucky Ducks is warm and inviting our family felt right at home. This is a great place to bond with your kids and connect with God. Riverbend is a beautiful community and 4 Lucky Ducks is in the perfect spot. We were visited by the 3 lake lure deer ( that’s what we called them) a very curious opossum, beautiful little ducks on the lake and some very funny squirrels. The kids loved the canoe and great grandpa was in love with the cabin and the craftsmanship of it. We could go on and on but to sum it up. It was a vacation that has left a beautiful memory in our hearts. Thank you for sharing your home and putting so much heart into it. Many blessings see you soon.

Explore the quieter side of the Lake Lure area in this seemingly undiscovered rental

I had the opportunity to spend a weekend at 4 Lucky Ducks a few weeks ago and I couldn’t have been happier with the stay. The massive back deck made enjoying the perfect weather a simple task. Although this cabin appears to be a very new build, the owners spared no expense outfitting it with all of the necessary amenities (games, water toys, etc.). The property could not have been cleaner or more comfortable. One other unadvertised surprise was that this property is very kid friendly, the deck has swing doors at the steps, the owner provided access to safety gates for use in the house, and there are plenty of games to pass the hours on a rainy day. As an avid fisherman, this private lake is a great place to hone your skills or teach the next generation of anglers. The lack of fishing pressure and restriction on motorized boats yields a lake is full of aggressive 2-3lb small and largemouth bass with the occasional shot at a 5+ pounder. In the heat of the summer, grab the canoe or kayak and head for the shallow waters at the ends of the lake and fish top water lures at dusk and dawn for your best shot at the big one. When the colder months come around, spinner baits and jigs off of the dock will do the trick pretty much any time of day. Younger children will wear their arms out fishing with minnows and worms off of the dock for some saucer sized pan fish. When I stayed at our family lake house as a child I was told that time spent on the lake does not count against your allotted time on this earth. After spending some time at 4 Lucky Ducks, I believe that the statement still holds true.

    Mirror Lake Cabin

Fantastic cabin! Very clean and well maintained. Great location….steps to a beautiful lake to enjoy swimming or kayaking and a short drive to many attractions (Lake Lure, Ziplines, hiking, etc). Cabin is well equipped for good weather or rain. There are games and puzzles and TVs. Owners were very helpful in answering all our questions. Cabin is well equipped to cook but there are also many restaurants around Lake Lure. I will recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in this area.

    Great Vacation on the Lake!

Brand new log home with a backyard that ends on Mirror Lake. Nicely furnished house, access to kayaks, canoes and water toys to explore the lake. Plenty of stuff to do in the house, too, with DVD player, ping-pong, foosball and board games. Used the grill to make some steaks to feed some well-exercised people. As an added bonus, the “Old Swimming Hole” on the Broad River is a short distance away within the community and we were able to drift the river in tubes for fun! I highly recommend coming here to play in the lake, relax on the large deck and get away from it all. Lake Lure is minutes away, and great zip-lining close by in Saluda.

    Awesome!!

We had such a great time staying at 4 Lucky Ducks! This house has just about everything that you could ask for! The kitchen is VERY well stocked for cooking! Love all of the chairs, swings, and hammock on the porches! We had three 9-12 year old boys who had a blast fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The beach area is close enough that we felt comfortable letting them take the boat/kayak and paddle down by themselves. The view and scenery is beautiful. And the house is gorgeous!! I can’t say enough about this place. we will definitely stay here again! The NC Dreamland Rental Company was so helpful and very prompt with any questions that I had before our stay.

Perfect Place! Beautiful and quiet!! Couldn’t have asked for anything better for our family!

Wow! This home is absolutely gorgeous and so quiet! I would highly recommend this new log home to anyone looking to get away for some quiet time and rest and relaxation. They have thought of everything from ping pong table to fuse ball to lots of board games available. A well stocked kitchen too! We loved having the flat screen TV’s in each room because at night, we could watch movies or we watched a lot of “shark week” which was fun! We were thankful to be swimming in a fresh water lake too! We didn’t leave the house too much because the yard was flat and you were able to play in it and and the lake was so much fun to play in. The lake water was so clean! In some lakes we have been in, it was very murky and dark, but this lake is the cleanest lake we have ever seen. Also, there are kayaks and canoes for exploring on the lake. We canoed/kayaked over the “beach” located on the lake that has a high dock you can jump off from and play around. Another bonus- There is also a very nice grocery store near the house that has everything you need which was awesome! We did venture out to Chimney Rock which is a quaint little town where you can walk along the river and go to some cute little shops. We ate breakfast at Genny’s in Chimney rock and sat outside right along the river. It was delicious and had a pretty view. The owners/rental company was so nice and helpful with all of our questions! Thank you for opening your home up for rental for others to enjoy it!
